Today in Engineering 150 we created our blog and wrote our first post! We also went over the many different documents Mrs. V made for us. One of the documents was our syllabus course outline. In the syllabus we added comments to share with our peers. The comments were based on how we felt about the course, rules, and grading procedures. Another document we looked at was an excerpt from chapter 12 of a book called A Guide to Writing as an Engineer. This chapter was basically about social media and your social footprint. This was a very interesting read because of the amount of information that was given and some great tips!
We got our first assignments for the week and I am so excited to get started on them! We have one assignment called 'Share A Tree.' With this assignment we are going to talk about engineers and how they make the world a better place. The next assignment we have is to create our MyEngineeringLab profile. This assignment should be done by Tuesday along with the Share A Tree assignment as well.
I am very eager to begin this class and more assignments! So far, I am very pleased with the professor and my peers. I think this is going to be a great semester!
